About us

Named after a corner.
Built on a promise.— family owned & operated since 1979.

The name never changed because the values never did. Three buildings later, 5th & Oak Autobody is still the same family, still handing out free loaner keys, and still standing behind every repair for life.

Our story

Three addresses. One family.

We kept outgrowing buildings. We never outgrew the way we treat people.
1979
The corner of Fifth & Oak Street

Fifth and Oak Autobody opens at the corner of Fifth and Oak Street in Washington, Missouri — the intersection that gave the shop its name. From the very beginning, free loaner vehicles come standard for every customer, and every repair is backed by a lifetime warranty.

1989
Fifth & International Street

A decade of doing repairs right fills the original building past capacity. The shop moves to a larger location at the corner of Fifth and International Street — same town, same family, more room to work.

2013
5222 Highway 100 East, next to Ozark Pool

Growth strikes again. 5th & Oak moves to its current home on Highway 100 — a modern, 100% secure facility with video surveillance inside and out, and frame racks, paint, and alignment equipment to match.

Today
